Welcome to Barcode Reader (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By downloading, accessing, or using our application and related services (“Services”), you agree to the following Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Please read carefully.
Our Services allow you to scan barcodes/QR codes using your device’s camera and generate barcodes/QR codes for personal or business use.
You must use the Services only for lawful purposes. Do not use them to create, scan, or share codes containing illegal, harmful, or misleading content.
You are responsible for any content you create, scan, or share through the app.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your country). If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.
Camera Access: Required to scan barcodes/QR codes. Camera data is processed locally and not stored or transmitted by us.
Storage Access (optional): Used only if you choose to save generated codes to your device.
Contact Information (optional): If you reach out to us (e.g., via email for support), we may collect your email address solely to respond to your request.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.
All scans and generated codes remain on your device unless you explicitly save or share them.
We do not maintain a server-based history of your activity.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no electronic system is 100% secure.
All rights, titles, and interests in the Services (including software, design, and branding) belong to Tale (developer of Barcode Reader). You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Services without written permission.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, reliability, or compatibility of scanned or generated codes.
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages, including but not limited to loss of data, business opportunities, or revenue, arising from your use of the Services.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services.
Our Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
These Terms & Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Vietnam. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
We may update this document from time to time. Any changes will be posted in the app with a revised effective date.
